Affordable SEO Services

Affordable SEO Services

It hardly must be discussed that you succeed or fail in your internet marketing by the amount of trust you generate among your audience in your brand name. A slight chink in the trust may tell adversely on your reputation as a fair businessman and your sales will start falling immediately.
another reason for a fall in your reputation may be the smear campaign launched by the competition against you. They may taint your name and your business without any good reason or fault on your part.

this sort of injustice is a standard phenomenon in the web marketing. Your competitor writes only one article against you and submits it to hundreds of directories.

The ad could be rather like this : be careful of This crime ( keyword ). This is acceptable to cancel years of difficult work put in by you to bring your business to its present level.

One way to convince your rival is to ask him kindly to remove the offending comments and then threaten him with legal action if he still persists. If this tactic also fails, it'd be better to fight him out at his own ground, that is, by playing the SEO game with him.
You can try to push the page/site with offensive comments to the second results page of search site, as an example, Google. This can be achieved thru many steps ;

Push other sites that have lower rank than your rival's site above it on the Google research page.
You can do so by applying SEO techniques.

three. Create new content and syndicate it thru articles, blogs, newsletters, etc for seoing your own site. You can also submit the content for syndication through RSS feeds.

four. Post ideally new content on the sub-domain site. You need not fill it with hundreds of pages. Just 10-12 pages should suffice .
Once this trust is built up, it is tricky for your rivals to shake it.

- Make sure you have easy navigation. You need to make sure your website is fool proof.

- Keep your content and promotions fresh. Nothing can turn a new visitor off of your site faster than a sale or promotion that ended 3 months ago.

People like free stuff, so give it to them! Create a guide about your products or services and offer it as a free download if they fill out a form. They'll be happy to get the information they want and you'll get their contact information, which is basically a lead!

Give your visitors the opportunity to review your products or services. Careful, though. If you have a lot of unhappy customers, you could get a lot of feedback you may not want others to see!

- Add some videos to your site. Sometimes there's nothing better than a visual explanation and a video is perfect for doing just that! It doesn't have to be a huge project, something simple will work. Your visitors will find it very useful and the search engines will love it, too.

A great way to connect with your visitors or customers is to interact with them on other websites: Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn are just a few of the social networks you can try. The more places people see you and your website, they better chance you have of them remembering you when they're looking for your products or services!

Organic SEO Vs. PPC War

Today online advertising has become one of the most basic mediums to promote a business and make your presence felt in the market. The need of the hour is to draw customers to your website by creating successful campaigns coupled with unique ideas and quality products and services.

Since the concept of online business has taken a front foot in the competitive market, it is important for businesses to realize that they need to dedicate their time and efforts more towards website advertising and marketing.

You may be in a quandary as to which technique to employ for advertising your website. First, before you employ any technique to promote your site, the golden rule is to clearly define goals that you wish to achieve. This will guide you in selecting techniques more appropriately and help you maximize your results within your budget.

Regarding the techniques, there are two options that have gained a lot of popularity in the recent times. These are:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Search engine optimization is the activity of improving the volume and quality of real time traffic to your site by optimizing your web pages. The SEO technique involves getting the topmost ranking without paying since your site is relevant to the search query entered by the user.

Pay Per Click (PPC)
This is an advertising model which requires an advertiser to pay when a user clicks on the ad. Advertisers select keywords that they want to run on and which are relevant to their business and then bid on these keywords. Bids may vary from keyword to keyword depending on how important and relevant the keyword is for the business. The advertiser’s ad shows under the sponsored links when a user types in a search query which matches the advertiser’s keyword.

Many times some commercial websites make use of both these options simultaneously to advertise their website. This is also a smart option as it not only leads to better website exposure and visibility but also ensures a better ranking and real time traffic to your site. However, gaining a better understanding of both these methods by analyzing their pros and cons can help you gauge which technique would be more suitable for you and is in align with your business objectives.

Search Engine Optimization Pros

More Credibility – By showing on top of search results you can enjoy more credibility because real time traffic and popularity is achieved by putting in lot of time and effort. The ranking is achieved purely on the basis of quality content and relevance.

Free Placement – Unlike PPC, you do not have to pay for the clicks you receive from organic search results. Getting on the top position is a matter of how well you optimize your site in relation to your competitors. It also saves you money in the long run once the process takes off well.

Improved Website Ranking –SEO also helps you attain a better site ranking with little effort. You can also hire SEO professionals like SEO Traffic Spider who can carry out the optimization task on your behalf which will reap you the benefits in the long run.

Qualified Traffic – You can expect a good amount of qualified real time traffic to your site as a result of increased recognition of search engines.

Long Lasting Results – The results you achieve from this method are more lasting and stable. Also, it gives you a much higher return on your investment. This is because usually users tend to click on organic search results when compared to PPC ads and this brings more traffic for less.

Search Engine Optimization Cons

Time Consuming – SEO is a complicated task and requires enormous amount of time and effort to implement it the right way. Sometimes it may also require you to completely modify the structure, layout, presentation, or content of your website to make it search engine friendly and also enhance user experience.

Results May Take Time – The true impact of SEO efforts cannot be known immediately. It will not give you instant results in terms of traffic and may take some time for your site to get the desired traffic. This time gap may affect your profitability till the time you start seeing true results.

Pay Per Click Pros

Instant results – This method brings you immediate results in terms of traffic, leads, or sales. In a matter of few hours or days you can begin to show on top of the sponsored links and enjoy the benefits of increased traffic flow.

Appropriate for Temporary Offers – This would be an ideal option for those who want to gain an entry into the online market for a short term or for those with temporary product/service offerings. This is because they can hope to gain better visibility and exposure by bidding higher on keywords rather than waiting for SEO to be implemented and return results.

Easy to Implement – PPC can be easily implemented without devoting much time and effort to it when compared to SEO. It also enables the advertiser to experiment with different keywords and landing pages to see what works best. You can also bid on a variety of keywords that you want to run on and which cannot be practically placed in your web pages when implementing SEO.

Pay Per Click Cons

Expensive – It is an expensive option as it eats up on your profit margins. Also, you end up paying even for clicks that may not convert into sales. Additionally, in case of click fraud, you may end up wasting a considerable amount of your budget on fraudulent clicks.

A thorough analysis of the pros and cons of both these approaches will help you decide which option would be more suitable for your advertising needs. However, the main highlight here is that PPC serves well as a short term strategy over SEO. It is a good option for those looking for quick results and a good ROI while waiting for their SEO initiative to ramp up. However, using the PPC model will leave you with thinner profit margins. From the long term perspective, search engine optimization will bring in higher profitability and make the most of your advertising dollars as it will extensively increase your margins in the long run.

Author: Sonu Seo

Search engine optimization (SEO) is a substance foreign to many people. Rarely a day passes when I do not get asked a few questions on the topic. So I decided to publish this article in the FAQ hopes it will help people to understand the basics, and make them a little more comfortable with the whole area.

Q: Why Search Engine important to me?

A: 85% of all website traffic is driven by the search engines. The only online activity more popular than research is a messaging service. 79.2% of American users do not go to page 2 of the results. 42% of users click on the no.1 result. For the under-40 years, the Internet will become the most used in the media the next 2-3 years.

Q: How do search engines decide their ranking? SEO Expert

A: IMPORTANT: You can not pay a search engine in exchange for a high ranking in the natural results. You can get a high if your content is deemed relevant by the search engines.

The search engines to identify content for their search results by sending spiders robots exploration (analysis) and index your site his (record) details. Complex algorithms are then used to determine if your site is useful and should be included in the search engines search results.

Q: Can I simply not pay for a senior?

A: No. The biggest concern for companies search engine like Google and Yahoo is to find the content that will bring them more traffic (and thus more advertising revenue). In other words, their results must be relevant. The results relevant is a good search engine; irrelevant results allows for a short-lived search engines.

Most search engines these days with two kinds of results, whenever you click Search:

"X Natural / Organic is the real search results. Results that most users are looking for and which form the largest part of the window. For most searches, the search engine displays a long list links to sites with content that is related to the word you searched. These results are ranked according to their relevance and importance.

"X Pure Paid advertising. This is how search engines make their money. Advertisers pay the search engines to display their ad whenever someone is looking for a word that is related to their product or service. These ads are similar to that of search results, but are usually labeled Sponsored and normally take a small portion of the window.

Q: How can I get a good ranking?

A: There are four stages:

Step 1 - Use the right words on your site

Step 2 - Get lots of relevant sites to link to yours

Step 3 - Use the right words in these links

Step 4 - Have a lot of your content and add more regularly

Q: What is search engine optimization (SEO)?

A: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the art of creating a Web site that is search engine. That means:

1. using the right words in your copy

4. design your site

For more information on these elements 4, download our "SEO eBook" Secrets of Seo Services .

Many people use SEO also describe the other ingredients in a high-ranking, "Link Popularity".

Q: What is the link popularity?

A: Think of the search engines as a big election. All sites in the world are candidates. The backlinks are votes. The more votes (links) a candidate (website) has, the more important it is, the higher its ranking. Link popularity is all about the number of links you have, and how you can get more.

Links to your site on search engines to tell how your site is important. They assume that if it ¡| s important enough to many other sites to link to it ¡| s important enough for them to appear at the top of the ranking. Links are the most important factor in the ranking. In general, the more you link to your site from other sites, the higher your ranking.

Q: Are there any links better than others?

A: Yes! Ideally, such as those related to:

1. from relevant sites (sites that use the same keywords);

2. comes from important sites (have a good ranking);

3. include your keyword within the text link;

4. includes various link text (not the same link text each time), and

5. comes from a page that contains links to several other sites.

When a search engine sees a link that meets most or all of these conditions, she said, Hey, this site must be credible and important, because others in the same sector are pointing towards it.

Q: How do I get lots of links to my site?

A: There are several possible ways to generate links. Some are dubious (like auto-generation software and sites set up by webmasters simply to host links to other sites) and I won’ t discussed here. Others, such as those discussed below, are legitimate.

1. Add your site to DMOZ and Yahoo directories (and other free directories)

2. Check where your competitors links are from

3. Write and submit articles for publication on the Internet

4. Swap links

5. Partner websites

6. pay for the bonds

A: Article PR. Writing articles useful and leave other webmasters to publish free of charge in exchange for a link in the byline. It does this to discourage the creation of SPAM websites (sites which serve no purpose other than to boost the ranking of some other sites).

There is a lot of anecdotal evidence supporting the theory, but there are also many discount. Nobody categorically proved its existence.

It’s always safe to keep the meta description tag within 160 characters (including spaces), as the rest of it gets truncated. One must avoid the following:

  1. Writing a meta description that is not relevant to the information presented on the webpage.
  2. Recording the same meta description across all the web pages of the website.
  3. Recording the meta description with only keywords.

URL Structure:
It’s important to create a URL structure that is friendly to the search engines as this will help in better indexing of your website. For this reason, it is essential to create appropriate filenames and expressive categories on your website. One must avoid the following:

  1. Recording long URLs
  2. Recording the same URL across all the web pages.
  3. Recording deep nested subdirectories
  4. Recording irrelevant directory names.

Website Navigation:
A website that is easy to navigate can help the visitors to find the information they are looking for. It also helps the search engines in indexing the pages appropriately. It is important to ensure that all the web pages of your website are interlinked properly and also show the correct page when clicked on. The use of sitemaps both HTML and XML help the spiders to crawl the website easily and also index it. One must avoid the following:

  1. Creating complex websites that are difficult to navigate.
  2. Creating drop-down menus.
  3. Developing a HTML sitemap in which the pages are not organized.
  4. Indexing the 404 page in the search engine.

Unique Content:
The content that is hosted on your webpage needs to be informative, such that it can elicit action. Ensure that the content is not copied and is 100% your own creativity. Keep the content focused around your primary keywords and ensure that the keyword density is around 2.75% to 3.21%. It is also good to keep changing the content on your website so that the visitors can see that the site is not static but dynamic with its content. One must avoid the following:

  1. Using images that serve as textual content.
  2. Using long sentences.
  3. Incorrect grammar and spelling mistakes.
  4. Duplicate content on the web pages of your website.
  5. Stuffing keywords unnecessarily.

Anchor Text:
Anchor texts are links that direct visitors to the internal pages of the website or to an external page/website. Anchor text helps the users to easily navigate between pages and also helps the spiders to understand what the page is all about, that it is linked to. One must avoid the following:

  1. Using general anchor texts.
  2. Using anchor text that is not related to the content of the webpage or is off topic.
  3. Using long sentences.
  4. Creating unnecessary links.

Heading Tags:
Heading tags are used to represent the heading of the content of the webpage. Heading tags range in 6 sizes – h1, h2, h3, h4, h5 and h6. These tags should only be used at the appropriate places. One must avoid the following:

  1. Using one heading tag for the entire content of the webpage.
  2. Using too many heading tags throughout the content of the webpage.

Alt Tag Optimization:
Images can’t be read by a spider when they crawl on the website. Therefore, it is important to use alt tags for the images. It is best suggested to use the primary keyword as the alt tag following the contents that describe the page. One must avoid the following:

  1. Using long filenames.
  2. Stuffing excess of keywords in the alt tags.

Robots.txt File:
A robots.txt file is used to prohibit the robots to crawl a particular page based on the nature and content of information that is available. This file must be placed in the root directory of your site and also named as robots.txt. One must avoid the following:

  1. Search result pages to be crawled.

Website Promotion:
You can promote your website using offline promotion, online promotion, social media sites, AdWords optimization, Google’s Local Business Center, forming groups, forums etc.

Once you have implemented or taken note of all these tactics, do use the Google Webmaster Tools that will help you in solving many of the issues that are related to your website. You can also monitor the performance of your website by using Google Analytics.

The Two Main Techniques - PPC and SEO

The Two Main Techniques - PPC and SEO

Author: JATINDERPAL SINGH

Pay Per click (PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) are two of the main techniques to generate visits on your website.

Pay Per Click (PPC) is the approach where you bid for the position in search results which are sponsored.

• Higher the bid, higher the position

• Higher the competition, higher the bid In principal, it is very straight forward. You pay for the position you wish to be and you have a greater control in terms of spending etc.

Organic SEO: Here you try to optimize your web pages around a set of keywords which you feel are suitable to your category. for more details:-www.the20seotools.com.Once search engine crawlers indexes your website and all the pages then your ranking / listing starts appearing in the organic search results for the keywords you have targeted.

So which one of the two is better?

Organic SEO

• ROI (Return On Investments) from organic SEO is substantially better than PPC.

• Organic SEO pays good in long run.

• The top positions of search engine results are not for sale. You can get there through organic SEO only.

• The CTR of organic listings are higher usually.

• The conversion of organic listing is also higher (lead / sales).

• Organic SEO does not require regular maintenance once SEO is done perfectly and is refined for few iterations.

• There is no recurring cost associated with SEO.

• There is nothing like "click fraud" as you are not paying per click in organic SEO.

PPC (Pay Per Click)
• PPC gives you instant traffic.

• PPC gives you targeted traffic as you can define a set of keywords for which you need traffic.

• Results can be measured in PPC programs.

• Marketing strategies can be formulated based on PPC as a tangible forecast of clicks is available over a period of time. for visit detials:-www.offline-promotion.com.PPC requires professional management once you attain a certain level of spend as maintaining.

• ROI (Return On Investments) is very important. An inefficiently managed PPC program can make you loose hundreds of dollars in one night !!

• PPC usually is second most cost effective form of web marketing (After organic SEO).

• PPC campaigns requires recurring / ongoing management.

• There are chances of loosing money due to click fraud but most of the major search engines have placed mechanisms to check this. Final Take: For any website an optimum balance and mix of PPC campaigns and organic SEO is must as they can generate quality traffic if managed properly. PPC gives instant traffic and can be a good source to generate traffic in long run too.

10 Questions to Ask When Creating Your Next Web Form

10 Questions to Ask When Creating Your Next Web Form
by Justin Premick on March 10th, 2009

Plenty of otherwise extraordinary email marketing campaigns have yielded only ordinary results because they didn’t focus enough on acquiring quality subscribers.

To get the most out of your list-building efforts, look at your web forms and ask yourself:

* Have you covered the basics of a good web form?
* How do you ensure you get a valid email address from subscribers?
* Is your signup form hard to understand? Can you make it easier to use?
* Can you use social proof to get more subscribers?
* What about a popup or popover/hover form?
* After subscribers fill out your form, do you tell them how to activate their subscription? Is your confirm rate the best it could be? Can you improve it by being creative?
* Do you really need to ask for all of that information?
* If you give away a free download to subscribers, do you protect it from people putting in bogus subscriber details?
* Can you relieve privacy and spam fears by adding a footer to your form?
* Can you learn more by attending a free webinar on web forms?

What else do you ask yourself when you create web forms?

5 Mistakes With Do-it-yourself SEO

I look at a lot of sites on a daily basis. There is a lot of common problems I see on the sites. Some people may have tags establishment or misuse of tags that have no real purpose. I have compiled a list of the top 5 do-it-yourself SEO mistakes. It is safe to say that many do-it-yourselfers can have at least one of these errors on their sites. These should help you avoid these costly mistakes and often pull you in the ranks.

1) Keyword tag - Seo Services
A keyword is the beacon of keywords, but not for keywords. You can not just stuff this tag with keywords that your entire site is related. The tags must reflect the keywords only on that particular page, not the entire site and not all of the keywords you think your site could be searched. Also, you should not have more than 20 words in the tag. You should not repeat any word more than 3 times. If you sell tickets, for example, do not write: Broadway tickets, the circus tickets, hockey tickets, boxing tickets, and so forth. Do use Broadway, the circus, hockey, boxing, tickets and so forth.

2) Description tag - It is sometimes used as a replacement for or combined with a description tag. However, more and more people are using these keywords to stuff. Search engines like Google are interested in what is on the page. More specifically, what visitors can see. In my opinion, the abstract tag has no place on a site.

3) Description Tag - The idea behind this tag is to describe what the "page" is about. Keywords related to the page should be implemented as well. The limit on words should be 20 to 25. I see a lot of site owners stuffing this tag with keywords, or having a description that is just as long. Stay within these guidelines and you will be fine.

4) Title tag - This, I believe, is the most important tag. This is the first tag the search engine bed. He tells what the search engine of the "page" is about. Do not put your web address here. Do not add your company name at the beginning of this tag either. It should not exceed 60 characters.

5) Content-If you notice, I received comments on the relevance of the "page", not your entire site. Each page has its own keywords. Tag the title tag, description and keywords. All these keywords should be the same. Add it to your content as well. Now your page should be fairly well optimized.

Why is it that the sites fall short? Simple, the content is not optimized. Search engines are, for the most part, pretty basic. You enter a search term and it retrieves sites containing those terms while also taking a number of other factors into account. So if your site does not have these terms, how will you find it? You will not. More to do with keywords and you will experience the same result, but for different reasons. Sometimes, while reading about SEO can be bad. Try too many tricks, tips or methods is like too many cooks spoil the soup. At the end, they may do more harm than good. These rules are very easy to be followed by all. And the doubt? Always consult or hire a professional SEO Expert.

Knowing The Price Of Good Seo

Knowing The Price Of Good Seo

Author: Real Easy SEO

After the web site design and the completion of the basic SEO, the next investment any business owner should consider is in search engine optimization. In order to understand SEO pricing, we have to underline the fact that the optimization process in itself is very advantageous, since presumably the traffic generated by a well-indexed page will pay for itself. In fact, the art (or science depending on who you talk to) of SEO was created with such a purpose in mind: increase leads and sales, increase conversions, and ultimately generate more money!

Several factors influence SEO pricing, and the amount of work required is first on the list. While the financial investment for good SEO varies depending on the size and the complexity of the pages , please understand that good SEO that you don't do yourself isn't cheap. Companies and agencies that offer SEO services often promote a free site analysis based on which the SEO quote is created. With this kind of report, you'll learn about how competitive you've been, what problems you face , and what changes need to be performed on the site.

Ultimately, your goals and your budget ultimately determine the price you should pay for SEO. Sometimes, the service provider will be able to recommend the less expensive alternative substituting elements that are not necessary for the optimization and suggesting various money-wise solutions.

There are lots of steps involved in the optimization campaign, and SEO pricing can be kept under control when you know exactly what needs to be done. Thus, any good SEO company will first initiate optimization by competition and industry investigations. Next should come the keyword research and the key-phrase selection, followed by the phrases implementation. Then, the web masters will continue with building of links and their submission to search engines and directories. SEO is a constant process, and requires active monitoring and communication between the owner and SEO agency to be effective.

To give some general figures of where SEO pricing can range, the whole process could cost between $2,000 and $10,000 according to the complexity of the site and the features of the competition. Beware of too low quotes since these are generally practiced by people with little experience in the field, and who may not perform the best of job on your site. The choice is yours!

Network Marketing Success--ppc Domination Review

Network Marketing Success--ppc Domination Review

Author: Megan Marshall

PPC Domination is the latest product offered through Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring program. Mike made waves when he first published Magnetic Sponsoring, and thousands have found that his methods work and have become successful Network Marketers by implementing them. So does PPC Domination live up to the reputation of the other Magnetic Sponsoring products? I purchased and reviewed the PPC in order to find out.

Overview of PPC Domination

PPC Domination is a video course that is geared specifically toward Network Marketers. Jim Yahgi, Mike Dillard's personal PPC guru, teaches you step-by-step how to use pay-per-click in order to grow your Network Marketing business. Drawing on personal experience and his own trial-and-error, Jim teaches you how to do PPC advertising without losing money--something that keeps many Network Marketers from doing PPC advertising.

While Jim gives step-by-step instructions, he also focuses on why each of the steps are important. This isn't a course of tips and tricks, rather it's a course that teaches you how to do PPC effectively without trying to stay ahead of the search engines by using the latest and greatest tricks.

What I Liked About PPC Domination

  • Geared toward somebody who has never done PPC before--the technical information isn't overwhelming

  • Step-by-step instructions

  • Exercises to help you really understand the material presented

  • PPC training especially for Network Marketers

  • The course is still useful if you have experience with PPC--it can help improve results you get from your PPC advertising

  • A lot of the material can be applied to any type of marketing for your Network Marketing business--not just PPC

What I Didn't Like About PPC Domination

  • Many people love video trainings, but I still prefer reading. I understand why PPC Domination was done in video format (easier to show screen shots, etc.), but I still would have liked a written format.

To Buy or Not to Buy?

So, would I recommend buying PPC Domination? Yes...if you want to grow your Network Marketing business using PPC advertising, this course will help you achieve your goals.

What is a Quality Incoming Link?

SEO - What is a Quality Incoming Link?

Author: micky

What is a quality incoming link? This article describes the key characteristics of a perfect link. For explanation purposes, the sample company is a shoe retailer called Fred's Sports, and the keyword phrase being optimized for is "blue Nike sneakers".

Key word phrase in anchor text

Unless you put your keyword phrase in the anchor text (the text that describes the web site being linked to), you are wasting a lot of link power. Unfortunately a lot of people don't know this an end up putting their company name in the link text rather than the keyword phrase that they want their company to be found by. Much better that they link anchor says "blue Nike sneakers" than "Fred's Sports Store".

The link is from a relevant page

Google and the Google-powered search partners seek relevance in the interconnectedness of web pages. Incoming links should be from pages where the content on that page is related to the content of the page that is being linked to. A fishing related page linking to a casino site is an example of a non-related link. A jogging related page linking to a blue Nike sneakers product page is related and is looked upon favourably by the search engines.

The link goes to a relevant page

Another mistake that people make is always linking to the home page rather than to the most relevant page to the anchor text. If the link anchor text is "blue Nike sneakers" then the link should go to a page about blue Nike sneakers, for more details visit to www.the20seotools.com not the home page. This is by far and away the most common linking mistake.

The link is from an authority site

Links from high Google PageRank sites are worth more, a lot more, than links from other sites. It's all about trust. A link from a trusted site tells the search engines that the sites linked to are also trusted - it's a vote of confidence from a credible source. Links from .gov, for more details visit to www.offline-promotion.com and .eddo sites are also reported as having more weight than standard links. They are also more difficult to get adding to their perceived quality.

The link is at top of the page

Links from the top of a page (except for the header), are said to have more weight than links at the bottom of pages. It's the same with keyword phrases. A keyword phrase in the heading is worth more than in the body text.

The link is one-way, not reciprocal

Google's algorithm looks for link exchanges between sites and rates these links lower than straight one-way links. If possible, look for one way links by creating link bait - compelling content that will encourage people to link to your pages.

The link is within the body copy - not an advertising zone

Linking should be a natural part of the body copy. Recent reports suggest that the search engines will derate links from parts of the page that are traditionally sold for advertising. these tend to be the margins, header and footer areas of the page.

The link does not have a nofollow tag

The nofollow tag is a recent innovation that tells the search engines that although I am linking to this other page, I do not vouch for the page's integrity. In short, the nofollow tag tells the search engines to ignore the link. Obviously you do not want links to your web pages to have nofollow tags. Be careful with link exchanges. Some dishonest people will exchange links with you but use nofollow tags in the links to your pages to preserve their own link power.

There are few links on page (less than 20)

One link to your web site from a page with hundreds of links does little for your SEO results. The page's SEO power is being distributed over all the other links on the page. Goo;le's guidelines recommend no more than 100 links per page, but I believe 20 is a reasonable goal. You never know when the Google algorithm may change. The perfect page that links to your pages should have no more than 20 links.

Affiliate Marketing: -income Made Through This Channel Runs Into Billions of Dollars Yearly

Affiliate Marketing: -income Made Through This Channel Runs Into Billions of Dollars Yearly

Author: Hansraj zinta

Affiliate Marketing is the fastest growing industry on the Internet today. Extra Income made through this channel runs into billions of dollars yearly. Indeed, many want to earn extra income using affiliate marketing, albeit without a real base plan, which is the most important reason for most being unsuccessful at it. Do you really look at any earning without understanding or planning the future of any business, be it at work or at earning extra income?
Home Office Setup:
The most important step to take before becoming an affiliate marketer is to set up your base – little home office you’ve always wanted.
Ergonomic because anyone intending to spend a major amount of time working on their computers need space which promotes good posture at the same time takes care of safety issues involving their office workspace.
Learning the Trade:
Nobody gets into work untrained. Even when you applied for your first job, you had made sure that you are qualified and can do justice to it. Putting in a nutshell, no one hires you for giving you a free extra income without basic training.
What you need then, is to get some training on how to become a professional affiliate marketer. You can start by finding another one and check what they can do to help you. There are many professional affiliate marketers already earning a substantial extra income, who would be willing to teach you by passing o their knowledge so that you can augment the extra income they are already earning. The internet also offers a lot of resources and conference time tables which you can attend to learn.
The secret is to become a student of your own business; you will get to learn something new day after day. Now you are ready to begin by setting some realistic goals for yourself.
Goals:
The major problem that plagues most affiliate marketers is that they tend to set themselves unrealistic goals by being over confident about their skills and plans. This results in becoming disenchanted very quickly due to non attainment of goals. Being realistic removes a lot of pain in this context. For example a goal of $5,000 a month realistically attainable, but a first time affiliate marketer is not likely to attain it when starting up.
Extra Income through Affiliate Marketing – Part 2 of 2.
Beginners and first timers should look at something more modest than $5,000 dollars a month. Starting with a smaller objective like $50 or $100 extra income a day, at the same time learning the trade’s smaller and important nuances will be worthwhile in creating a long term and sustained affiliate marketing business.
As a goal of earning extra income of $50 a day may seem small and non lucrative, but it is achievable and affiliate marketing being a continuous learning process, it is a good place and budget to begin with. Remember, you are also learning how to do things successfully at the same time. Give it some lead time and you could substantially increase your extra income using affiliate marketing.
Keep revising your goals periodically, as often as fortnightly or monthly. Remember these goals should point in the direction of one larger single goal that you want to achieve in terms of success or in terms of amount of extra income you want to earn. Put these goals on paper and make sure they are in visible range on your table all the time. This will help focus your energy towards your goals.
A lot of literature is available on focus and goal setting by renowned and successful people like Zig Ziggler and more. Reading them would help you not only to add to your knowledge base but also to work in a better and more efficient way towards achieving that extra income goal of yours.
The next step would be the most important in your career as an affiliate marketer to earn extra income. Go out of your way and into the field to make connections and contacts with relevant and useful people in the affiliate marketing industry.

Disabling the Back Button

Disabling the Back Button

By Joe Burns

Use these to jump around or read it all...

[Three Methods]
[Method Two: Open and Close]
[Method Three: Frames Trap]

This tutorial is kind of a misnomer. You technically cannot disable the Back button on someone's browser, however, you can make it so that the button isn't available or continues to load the same page.

I should say up front that this is an effect that you may not want to use a great deal as it traps your users, however, the effect is used a great deal today and I get tons of email asking how to achieve the effect...so here it is. I simply offer it as code. You do with it as you please.

Three Methods

I know of three methods to somewhat disable a browser's Back button. Now, please understand that none of these methods are foolproof as the Back function can always be achieved by right clicking on the page and choosing to go back. Furthermore, the user can always get out of the system by leaving the domain altogether or right clicking on the back button and choosing a page two or three back in the browser's history.

That said, here are the three methods.

The first really doesn't deserve more than a few lines in that you most likely already know how to do it. Set up a link that opens a new window that doesn't have a back button. You can get that effect by setting the "toolbar

" to "no" when you configure the new window.

It's boring, but it works. The problem is that the user can just simply close the new window and get back to the parent. That's where method two comes in.

Method Two: Open and Close

Method two also incorporates the new window but it goes one step further. It closes the parent window once the new window opens.

You get the effect but setting the open window code to a function. After the function runs, you set a self.close() command to close up the parent window. The code and the text link

that fires the code looks like this:

Click to go to a new page

I can show you the effect right here, but this window would close so here's what we'll do. I'll spawn a new window that contains the code above. Take that as the parent window. You'll click on the link in that window and it'll span yet another new window and then close itself.

Confusing? Maybe. Let's try it.

Click here to see the effect

The effect works pretty well across browsers, but it does have one downfall. MSIE browsers now often ask if you want the main window closed when it received the self.close() command. That pretty much kills the effect.

If you'd like the effect to occur without your user clicking a button, set the function "goNewWin()" in the BODY tag and trigger with an onLoad Event Handler.

<-body onload="goNewWin()">

Which brings us to Method Three.

Method Three: Frames Trap

This is how I've seen the effect achieved numerous times. Again, it is not infallible. Users can get around it, but it is pretty clever in terms of coding.

Here's the basic thought process. You set up a two-frame format that has one frame set to 100% and the second, of course, set to zero. It doesn't matter if you use columns or rows. One frame is totally hidden anyway. I used columns. The code looks like this:

<-frameset cols="100%,*">
<-frame src="goback.html">
<-frame src="fillerpage.html">
<-/frameset>

You'll notice that in the frame set to zero, I still make a point of adding a page. You still need to do that simply because it stops the browser from throwing a page not found and slowing down the process. The page is blank.

OK. In the 100% frame, I have a page named "goback.html". The user will never see that page mainly because it is nothing more than a redirect to the page I want. The page "goback.html" contains no visible text but rather the code:

<-meta equiv="refresh" content=".0; URL=nobackpage.html">

See what's happening? The user logs in and the two frames load. The page "goback.html" immediately redirects the 100% frame to jump to a new page, "nobackpage.html".

If the user clicks Back, the "goback.html" page loads and the "nobackpage.html" page pops right back up.

Again, it can be thwarted by clicking quickly or right clicking on the Back button and jumping back past it. Even so, it's a new effect.

That's That

Thanks for reading. I'm not sure that this is an effect you'll want to use a great deal, but there it is. How you find a decent use for it.

Enjoy!

Have you ever thought about making a steady online income… while traveling? Ebay provides a fantastic platform for doing this and it’s not very difficult or time consuming. You can travel overseas for a LONG time by holding just a few online auctions per week if you set things up properly.

Most people dismiss Ebay as a viable travel business because they think you’ve got to have a physical inventory present… and while traveling, that would clearly be limited by the size of your luggage.

There’s good news and more good news. The first piece of good news is that you definitely DON’T need to have a physical item or inventory to sell. You can easily sell a digitally delivered product or inexpensively hire a fulfillment house to ship your stuff for you. Here’s the ‘more’ good news: because most people dismiss Ebay for making a travel income the market is left wide open for this type of marketing!

The other big reason entrepreneurs dismiss Ebay is because they think it’s for selling old junk lying around the house. They take a ‘garage sale’ mentality about Ebay (sell your extra stuff lying around the house). This is great for some people, but wrong for business!

So, Here is your basic model for traveling and making money with online auctions:

1) Find a product to sell. This is easy. You can sell a digital E-book if you don’t want to carry an inventory, or you can resell items from wholesalers at a markup. Simply get on the lists of a few dozen wholesalers and start watching their wholesale product listings.

2) Based on those products, narrow it down to what people WANT.
This is the biggest pitfall would-be auction sellers make... They sell a product they think people need instead of what people actually BUY. You’ve got to find where the highway traffic is flowing and stand in front of it with a big money net.

3) Study Your Competition. You should steal what other competitors are doing that is working! Watch for the sellers who consistently sell products in the market you’ve chosen, and see what they are doing. They’re on Ebay because what they’re doing is working! By the way, don’t get scared off by competition. Competition means there’s a market of buyers!

4) Get your feet wet. Jump in there and make a listing! Start the bidding price low so that people get emotionally invested in your product. Show lots of pictures. Consider utilizing an auction listing template to make things look nice… but remember, it’s the STORY that people get drawn into more than a pretty website, so make them feel like they already own the product and show them the benefits of owning your product, not the features.

5) Scale Bigger.
After you’ve experienced some success with a few auctions, you can now make more sales and bigger sales.

So how do you travel and sell on ebay? Easy. There are internet cafĂ©’s all over the world that you can login to for as little as $0.10 cents per hour! Most will be around $1-$2 dollars per hour, and you’ll get a surprisingly high-tech computer to access the web with.

You can modify your listings from abroad and have your fulfillment house (or your little brother!) handle shipments. If you like, you can even have a customer service center answering buyer questions.

Safe Palette of colors for web browsers:

Since most computers are capable of displaying at least 256 colors, a Safe Palette of colors was created. This palette is constructed by incrementing each color value by 51 decimal, or 33 hexadecimal. (For example, the values 00, 33, 66, 99, CC, and FF.) This allows for a palette of 216 colors, which stays inside the range of possible colors for a computer that supports 256 colors.

The following table lists the hex values for the 216 colors that make up the Safe Palette of colors for web browsers:

Internet Marketing- Most Important Marketing Trends!

Internet Marketing- Most Important Marketing Trends!

Author: jasspreet

Like many internet marketers, I read many predictions at the beginning of the year regarding what to expect for 2008 and what may be the hot trends in the internet marketing industry.

You have probably noticed, as I have, that the internet appears to be changing. Let's look at these changes and how they point to 3 trends that may offer excellent opportunities for online marketers in the months ahead.

First of all, the internet market is still relatively new. Recent statistics show that only 18% of the world's population has internet access. However, this is rapidly growing, especially in Asia.

As with all new markets, especially those that involve technology, the first ones to enter are the innovators and early adopters: so-called "internet geeks" and the entrepreneurs.

Then the market gradually enters the mainstream, where the vast majority of the population, and opportunities, exist. There is evidence to suggest that this is going on right now on the internet.

Many regular presenters at internet marketing seminars have commented on how the attendance at these events started to change in 2007. The usual group of "geeks" and "gurus" began to be replaced by people totally new to the concept of internet marketing.

So new that Michael Fortin, one of the top copywriters on the web, remarked that after speaking on stage he was very surprised to be asked questions such as, "How do you create a text file?", or, "What is an auto responder?" More and more people are starting an online business for the first time, for more details visit to www.tube-pros-espects.com people who have limited internet marketing skills.

The veterans of the industry, the top marketers, have either moved on, retired, or are well aware of the trend towards the "newbie" market and are actively pursuing it.

Here's the interesting part: the way these "gurus" are approaching the "newbie" market is increasing offline. Yes, you read that right. Offline advertising is now becoming very effective for marketing online opportunities. As a matter of fact, the initial results from an offline marketing campaign being conducted by the markers of the system I use for my network marketing opportunity has shown impressive results.

In addition to this offline trend, as mentioned above, people in Asia are beginning to come online in huge numbers. This is going to be a vast and lucrative market.

In summary, here are the 3 hot internet marketing trends to look for in 2008 and beyond:

1. the market in Asia.
2. The opportunities in offline marketing.
3. The many new people looking to start an online business.

Many internet marketers have already begun to serve these markets and are seeing surprising results.

Personally, I see the "newbie" market as having tremendous potential. Even if you have only been marketing online for one year, for more details visit to www.sell-using-the-web.com you probably have already gained a tremendous amount of knowledge that would be very useful to share with others.

The key here is to serve the market niche by offering solutions.

Internet marketers that choose to offer internet marketing strategies and solutions to these markets may be rewarded generously.
